Meretz-Yahad faction head Zehava Gal-On petitioned Elections Committee Chair Supreme Court Justice Dorit Beinish on Monday to order Shas to cease distributing books of psalms through its Internet site to those who supported the party, which Gal-On called elections bribery.
She also claimed the law forbade the distribution of benefits to potential voters and that this included the distribution of religious ritual articles.
