Two West Bank settlements have recently agreed to absorb evacuees from the Gush Katif settlements of Kfar Darom and Shirat Hayam who have been displaced from their homes during the disengagement in August, 2005.
In Eshkolot, south of Hebron, the Kfar Darom families would first be housed in empty buildings until a new neighborhood may be built for them.
Maskiyot, in the northern Jordan Valley were to take in 15 families from Shirat Hayam, Israel Radio reported.
