A gigantic one-meter-long sea turtle was washed up on the Bat Yam Beach near The Sun Hotel on Thursday night.
Tel Aviv District Police said that they received a report to their emergency hotline about the turtle and when a police patrol car from the Ayalon Sub-District arrived at the scene the officer on duty pronounced the turtle dead.
The incident was transferred to officers of the local governing council.
