The 18-year-old girl who was found in a Tiberias stairwell early Friday morning was strangled to death, an autopsy revealed.
Police suspect that she was killed by her 19-year-old ex-boyfriend, who committed suicide early Friday with his army-issue M-16 rifle and was found dead in his room approximately an hour before the girl's body was discovered.
The youth's parents told police he had been depressed because she left him, Army Radio reported.
