Miki and Shlomo Goldwasser, the parents of abducted IDF soldier Ehud Goldwasser, on Saturday called on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to make direct contact with Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah in order to demand the release of their son.
Nevertheless, in comments attributed to them by Army Radio, they said Israel must pursue Hizbullah leaders "and harm them."
They also accused the government of not being "creative enough" in their efforts to secure the release of the captured IDF soldiers.
The Goldwassers went on to say that despite assurances from the government, they did not feel that the issue of the kidnapped troops was a top priority for Israeli leaders.
Miki called on the public to "flood Olmert with letters" calling for the release of the captured troops.
