Government employees returned to work Thursday morning after two days of striking. All government offices opened according to their regular schedules. The workers agreed to return following a Finance Ministry decision to freeze the transfer of civil servants' bank accounts from Bank Yahav to a private bank for three months, Army Radio reported. The workers claim that transferring their accounts will force them to pay at least NIS 200 more per month in fees. The Histadrut and the Finance Ministry will continue negotiations throughout the next three months.
