A hand grenade was thrown at the home of the former partner of convicted mob boss Ze'ev Rosenstein in Ramat Gan overnight Saturday. No one was wounded but the entrance to the house as well as three cars in the vicinity sustained damage. Police launched an investigation into the attack but were yet to make any arrests. Rosenstein was extradited to the US in March 2006 for smuggling 1.45 million MDMA (Ecstasy) pills into the US and distributing them. He returned to Israel in March 2007 to serve out his 12-year prison sentence.
