Haefrati couple jailed in Trojan Horse case

Ruth Haefrati was sentenced on Sunday to four years in jail for her part in the Trojan Horse computer spy program affair. Her husband, Michael, who developed and perfected the program, was sentenced to two years for helping her carry out crimes which included violations of the Computer Law, the Protection of Privacy Law, the Wiretapping Law and the Criminal Code. The two confessed to the charges as part of a plea bargain agreement with the state prosecution. The state presented the agreement to Tel Aviv District Court, which handed down the sentence.
