More than 20 other people were injured and the building's residents were relocated. Natan Kramaski, head of the National Infrastructures Ministry in Haifa, said the ministry was still investigating whether the cause of the explosion was the fault of Amisragas, the supplier of the gas canister, or carelessness on the part of the residents. He urged the public to check the condition and connections of their gas canisters regularly.
