Hamas: Israeli strike in northern Gaza kills two

An Israeli strike in northern Gaza on Wednesday killed two Palestinians and injured four others, Palestinian security officials and medics said. The IDF had no immediate comment but said it was checking the report. The reported strike took place on the first day of a three-day visit by US President George W. Bush to Israel and the West Bank. Hamas said Israel had fired some sort of projectile from a land position. In recent weeks, Israel has stepped up its air strikes and tank-fire attacks against Gaza terrorists who fire rockets into southern Israel on a daily basis, including more than a dozen on Wednesday.
