Hanegbi hopes Monday vote was 'pullout aftershock'

Minister-without-Portfolio Tzahi Hanegbi expressed his hope Tuesday morning that the opposition within Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's governing coalition was only temporary. "If what happened yesterday is an aftershock of disengagement, then we can live with it," said Hanegbi. Sharon's appointment of three new ministers was blocked by the votes of eight rebel Likud MKs Monday evening. The PM blasted the opposition within his party as "personally motivated," and said they would suffer harsh consequences for their actions.
