Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Tzahi Hanegbi on Friday called the new Middle East peace plan initiated by Spain "redundant."
Hanegbi added that if the initiative were accepted it would prevent Israel from operating in the Gaza Strip.
One of the five elements of the plan was an international mission in Gaza to monitor a cease-fire.
