Haredi anti-parade protests cancelled in Jerusalem

Modest protests against the Jerusalem Gay Pride Event were planned for Friday in several of the capital's haredi neighborhoods.
Earlier Friday morning, announcements broadcast over loudspeakers informed the city's haredi population that the counter-demonstrations had been cancelled, and instead asked the residents to go to synagogue and read psalms.
