Schools within the Haredi education system decided Friday that they would not be commemorating the murder of deceased Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin as part of their curriculum. Many Haredi schools have returned educational materials having to do with the commemoration to the ministry of education. Spokespeople for the Haredi school system explained that they would not commemorate the incident since it largely has little to do with the Torah, Israel Radio reported.
