Several haredim pelted a Jerusalem city bus with
stones late Sunday in the city's Mea She'arim
neighborhood, police said.
There were no injuries or damage reported in the 10:15 p.m. attack on the Egged bus on Rehov Yehezkel.
The street was closed off to traffic.
Nearby, haredi residents also set garbage bins on
fire, police said.
Tensions have been running high in the neighborhood following last month's arrest of five haredi men in Ramat Beit Shemesh for allegedly assaulting police and taking part in a public disturbance.
