Haredim stone bus in Ramat Beit Shemesh

Several dozen haredim pelted a bus with stones in Ramat Beit Shemesh on Sunday, in continuing low level clashes in the area, police said. There were no injuries reported in the early-afternoon attack on Rehov Nahar HaYarden, but the windshield of the bus was shattered. The rioters then spray-painted the words 'Oz murderer' on the bus, in reference to the Beit Shemesh Police Chief Oz Eliasi, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. Police and haredi residents of the area have repeatedly clashed in the neighborhood over the last week after police arrested five haredi residents for creating disturbances.
