'Hawatmeh seeks to stay in West Bank indefinitely'

Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine Leader Nayef Hawatmeh seeks to stay in the West Bank indefinitely, not just to attend the PLO assembly meeting, a senior DFLP official told Israel Radio on Sunday.
Hawatmeh wishes to move back with his family and to obtain a Palestinian identity card, said the official.
