The Health Ministry has requested that any person who has come into contact with a jackal in the western Galilee to report Tuesday morning to the closest health office following the discovery of a rabies-infected jackal on Monday.
Several people have already reported to have been bitten by a jackal in the area including a 13-year-old boy and a soldier.
