The High Court of Justice was scheduled to discuss on Monday morning two petitions demanding that the planned Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade be cancelled.
On Sunday evening, Attorney General Menahem Mazuz denied requests to cancel the parade, and ordered police and gay rights activists to work together to find a way of holding the event while ensuring the participants' safety.
