High Court to hear petitions against Katsav deal

A panel of five High Court justices will convene on Tuesday at 9 a.m. to hear the petitions filed against Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz's decision to reach a plea bargain with former president Moshe Katsav, the courts administration announced on Sunday. The panel will be headed by Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch. Meanwhile, the court agreed to give the petitioners until Monday morning to submit their comments to the state's reply to their petitions. The state filed its reply on Thursday night.
