Highlights of the agreement with Hizbullah

The following is an outline of the agreement with Hizbullah for the release of Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev that was overwhelmingly approved by the cabinet Sunday: • The abducted soldiers will be returned to Israel, a report on the disappearance of missing navigator Ron Arad will be delivered to Israel, and the remains of soldiers killed in the Second Lebanon War will also be returned. • In exchange, Israel will release Samir Kuntar, four "illegal Lebanese fighters," and the bodies of dozens of infiltrators and terrorists, including eight members of Hizbullah. • Israel will deliver information on four missing Iranian diplomats to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. • A month after the implementation of the deal, Israel will release Palestinian prisoners of which the number and identities will be determined solely by Israel. • Israel reiterates and confirms its obligation to exhaust all efforts in obtaining credible and solid information that will shed light on the fate of Arad. • Israel reiterates and confirms its commitment to continue acting for the release of Gilad Schalit. • Israel will not let up in its efforts to locate and bring home any missing soldiers and those whose resting place is unknown.
