Hirchson's questioning ends after 7 hours

Finance Minister Avraham Hirchson's third questioning ended Thursday after seven hours. The minister was questioned by the National Financial Crimes Unit (NFCU) about alleged embezzlement of public funds. Hirchson continued to deny any allegations against him and said that the funds were transferred to him by his son and a relative who helped him during his wife's illness. Hirchson refused to make any comment to press on his departure.
