Holon man arrested for abusing and threatening to kill wife

Police arrested a 58-year-old man Monday on suspicion of attacking his wife and threatening her with a knife.
When police arrived at the couple's apartment Sunday night close to midnight, they found the woman hiding in the bathroom with various injuries to her body.
A Magen David Adom team treated her and she is now in a moderate condition at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital.
Police will request a remand extension later Monday at the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court.
