A 25-year-old Ukrainian woman who abandoned her 8-month-old daughter in a Holon trash dumpster over the weekend was released from police custody on Monday and was ordered by the Interior Ministry to prepare for her and her child's deportation in one month's time.
Meanwhile Monday, a 35-year-old man told police that he was the child's father.
The father was placed under arrest after police discovered he was wanted by the bondsman for failing to pay a debt.
