Home Front war report due June or July

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss will release his report on the government's handling of the Home Front during the Second Lebanon War at the end of June or beginning of July, his spokeswoman, Orit Harel said Thursday. The state comptroller completed the first draft of his report in early March and sent it to those who stood to be hurt by it for their comments and explanations. Lindenstrauss had intended to present a report on his findings to the Knesset State Control Committee but did not do so after Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz refused to defend him before the High Court of Justice against petitions demanding that he refrain from doing so until those who had received the report responded to the findings about their behavior.
