Homesh activists return after Shabbat ends

Dozens of right-wing activists who had secretly made their way to the former West Bank settlement of Homesh Friday afternoon began leaving on Saturday evening. The IDF allowed the activists, who had managed to flee to the adjacent northern Samaria hills, to remain at the site for the remainder of the Shabbat. Initially, nearly 100 right-wing activists were forcibly removed by IDF, police and Border Police units at the scene.
