Hundreds pay last respects to deceased actor Yisrael "Poli" Poliakov

Hundreds of people arrived at the Tel Aviv "Cameri" theater Wednesday to pay their last respects to actor Yisrael "Poli" Poliakov, who died of cancer Tuesday at the age of 66.
Poliakov's coffin was placed at the theater ahead of a funeral ceremony which will be held later in the afternoon. Attendees included friends, politicians, artists and members of the entertainment industry.
A number of eulogies were made to the assembled crowd by a list of speakers including President Shimon Peres, Science, Culture and Sport Minister Ghaleb Majadle, and Tel Aviv mayor Ron Huldai.
