The annual ceremony for soldiers whose burial place is unknown was held Sunday morning at Mt. Herzl.
Attending the ceremony were Acting President Dalia Itzik, Defense Minister Amir Peretz, IDF chief of General Staff, Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, IDF Chief Rabbi Yisrael Weiss and families of the missing soldiers.
According to Jewish tradition, the ceremony is held on the 7th of Hadar, the date Moses was born and died.
