IDF building add'l crossing for Palestinians

The IDF is currently constructing a new crossing that will serve Palestinians living in Kalkilya and the surrounding villages who have permits to enter Israel for work. Security officials believe that once the crossing begins operating, it will facilitate entry to Israel for Palestinian laborers while increasing security and preventing suicide bombers from breaching Israel's border. Dubbed "crossing 107", the crossing - located west of Kalkilya - will serve pedestrian traffic only. The army believes the crossing will open in a number of days, and will operate similarly to crossing 104 located at She'ar Ephraim.
