IDF chief: Army has removed 24 West Bank roadblocks

IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen Gabi Ashkenazi said Tuesday that the IDF had recently removed 24 West Bank road obstructions in coordination with Palestinian authorities, Israel Radio reported.
He also said the army was preparing for various possible developments ahead of the Annapolis conference set to take place next week, including a possible escalation in violence.
Ashkenazi spoke at the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
