IDF enters s. Gaza to search for terror suspects, tunnels

Givati Brigade troops entered the southern Gaza Strip on Monday morning to search for Palestinian terror suspects and tunnels. The soldiers carried out house-to-house searches and arrested several people. Troops, backed up by IAF helicopters, infiltrated the Strip at the Sufa Crossing area. More than 15 tanks and armored vehicles, accompanied by ground forces, entered about 1.5 kilometers into Gaza. The IDF flattened the with D9 bulldozers to make it more difficult for Palestinian terrorists to launch Kassam rockets.
