The IDF fired upon a group of Palestinians who crossed the Gaza Strip security fence near Kibbutz Kissufim overnight Thursday.
One of the Palestinians was wounded from the gunfire.
They were arrested and handed over to security officials in Israel for interrogation.
Earlier Thursday, Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket from the northern Gaza Strip at the Hof Ashkelon community. No one was wounded and no damage was incurred in the attack, Army Radio reported.
