The security establishment revealed on Tuesday that Israel was willing to open the Kerem Shalom crossing between the southern Gaza Strip and Israel, but claimed that the Palestinians were not cooperating on the matter.
The Karni crossing in the northern part of the Strip has been closed for several weeks following alerts raised by the security establishment warning of explosive tunnels nearby.
There have been numerous warnings of attacks elsewhere as well, Israel Radio reported.
