IDF salutes parents of French lone soldiers

A ceremony held for parents of lone soldiers from France who serve in the IDF took place Monday morning in the country's capital, Army Radio reported. OC Human Resources Maj. -Gen. Elazar Shtern and Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yitzhak Eitan, chairperson of the Friends of the IDF met with parents in Paris and outlined the character of their children's services in addition to explaining to them what rights they have in the army. Approximately 230 French lone soldiers serve in the military.
