IDF stops suspicious men in Lebanon near border

IDF troops on Friday stopped a group of men who were moving toward the Israeli border in an area of southern Lebanon under Israeli control, the army said. The army said the men were being questioned. It was not clear whether the men were armed or members of Hizbullah, and the army declined to give further comment. Israel has been gradually reducing the number of troops in Lebanon since an Aug. 14 cease-fire ended 34 days of fighting against Hizbullah. Security officials say thousands of troops remain, waiting for the international force to arrive.
