About 20 IDF jeeps entered the West Bank city of Ramallah on Tuesday evening and surrounded a building there, Palestinian security officials reported.
The officials said the IDF had warned the Palestinians to keep their patrols off the streets because an operation to arrest fugitives was underway.
The IDF had no immediate comment.
