IDF troops shot an armed Palestinian operative south of Karni Crossing, in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday morning.
The IDF said that the soldiers spotted the man near the Gaza-Israel border fence and opened fire on him, identifying a hit.
The Palestinian's condition was unclear.
