IDF: We've compiled a work plan as part of internalizing war lessons

"When the Second Lebanon War ended, the IDF initiated a thorough and comprehensive investigation, including an inquiry into the IDF readiness prior to the war and while it was going on," an IDF spokesman said following the release of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee's (FADC) report on the war. "The (FADC) report on matters pertaining to the Second Lebanon War is coming out while the IDF is in the midst of wide-ranging moves towards implementing lessons in all fields," the spokesman said. "The IDF has compiled a practical work plan as part of the process of internalizing lessons, in order to be prepared and qualified for any security scenario."
