Indictment filed against German immigrant Rafael Angel's kidnappers

The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office filed their indictment Monday against two people believed to be responsible for the kidnapping of German immigrant businessman Rafael Angel in February of this year. According to the indictment presented Monday, the two, Yosef Peleg, 48, of Azur and Erez Dahan, 38, from Jerusalem were acting for Angel's former business partner, Ron Greenbaum when they kidnapped and held Angel. The two are expected to face charges including kidnapping for the purposes of extortion, confinement, extortion under threats, and robbery. The two will remain jailed until their next hearing in mid-November. Another two people were mentioned in the indictment beyond Dahan, Peleg and Greenbaum, but while police said that more arrests would follow those of Dahan and Peleg, none have been made.
