Inmate in prison for life dies after losing consciousness

An inmate who had been convicted of murder and was serving a life term in Ashel Prison in the south died on Monday after losing consciousness.
A Magen David Adom team which arrived at the prison tried to resuscitate the man, but failed.
No signs of violence were found on the man, and Prison Services was investigating the incident.
