Along with Likud, internal elections for their party's running list for the Knesset in the upcoming elections will be held in Shinui, Moledet and
National Religious Party (NRP), on Thursday.
Some fifty candidates will compete for placement among the first 18 slots on the Shinui list, which will be decided by some 170 council members from the party who will meet in
Tel Aviv Thursday afternoon to rank the candidates.
Yosef (Tommy) Lapid and Itzik Gilad will vie for the first slot to lead the party, and Ron Leventhal and Avraham Poraz will vie for the number two slot.
