The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for launching two Kassam rockets into Israel's western Negev Friday morning.
One of the crude missiles reportedly landed in a Sderot neighborhood, causing damage to a number of homes. An unspecified number of individuals were being treated for shock, according to Israel Radio.
Another rocket landed near a kibbutz within the Sha'ar Hanegev regional council.
No injuries were reported in the attacks.
