Israel Air Force chief warns Israeli satellites could be targeted in orbit

Parties that are hostile to Israel could attempt to target Israeli satellites orbiting earth, Air force commander Major-General Eliezer Shkedi said Wednesday. "Countries or organizations could physically harm, block or blind satellites in space," Shkedi said at a Herzliya conference dedicated to the memory of Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon. "I would advise against turning a blind eye in this matter."
