Israel Electric expected heavy electricity consumption through Sunday, despite a drop in temperatures.
According to Israel Radio, the company is concerned that electricity consumption will reach the maximum level, and has asked the public not to use appliances that consume a great deal of power, such as dishwashers and clothes driers, until the evening.
