Israel plans to install security cameras at the Mughrabi excavation site near the Temple Mount that will show real-time footage of the controversial construction, Army Radio reported on Thursday.
The plan was initiated by Israel Beiteinu MK Yisrael Hasson, who said such a move would "prove to the countries in the Arab world that no damage is being done to mosques as a result of the excavation."
Meanwhile, prayers at the Temple Mount ended without incident.
