Israel will release its findings Thursday about the killing of four UN peacekeepers in an Israeli air strike on July 25 in Lebanon.
The report will be given to diplomats of Canada, China, Finland and Austria, which each had a soldier killed in the strike, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said. He would not give details on the report.
Israel has expressed regret for the bombing and said it does not target UN personnel. UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan had said that the attack on the observation post in the Lebanese town Khiam was "apparently deliberate."
Before the airstrike, UN observers in Lebanon had telephoned the IDF 10 times in six hours to ask it to stop shelling near their position, the UN said.
