Israel to show reporters AWACS plane ahead of arms exhibition

Israel showed reporters the cockpit and interior of an advanced AWACS aircraft, Thursday. State-run Israel Aerospace Industries plans an in-house exhibit Thursday of its Eitam airplane, which is equipped with sophisticated intelligence-gathering systems. The plane was first unveiled a year ago. Israel is showing the plane now ahead of a defense exhibition where it hopes to find buyers for the aircraft.
