A decision to return the bodies of the three Hizbullah gunmen killed by an IDF paratrooper in Ghajar on Monday is expected to be made later tonight, sources in the IDF said.
The IDF Spokesman confirmed that a request from the Lebanese government via the International Red Cross had been received. According to reports, the Lebanese government claimed that such a step would be instrumental in ensuring calm prevailed along the Northern border.
The IDF Spokesman said the government leadership in consultations with the top IDF echelon is expected to make a decision on the issue later tonight (Thursday.)
