Elad Klein, 31, an Israeli citizen was found dead in Hong Kong on Sunday, presumably from a kayak accident.
Local police assessed that strong currents smashed his kayak against the rocks, killing him and badly damaging his boat.
Klein's body was found Sunday morning in a cave near the neighborhood of Shek O, on Hong Kong Island's southeastern coast.
He was reported missing on Saturday.
The Foreign Ministry was preparing to return Klein's body to Israel for burial.
Just two weeks ago, another Israeli, 20-year-old Moran Califa, was killed in a rafting accident in Peru. After her daughter's death, Califa's mother emphatically urged all young travelers to be careful.
