A 20-year-old Israeli tourist was killed while hiking in India on Sunday, authorities announced Monday.
The body of the young man was found in northern India with stab wounds. Police suspect that the northern resident was robbed and then murdered after he apparently separated from the group of tourists with whom he was hiking.
The body was brought to the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi, which prepared to fly the body back to Israel.
The young man's family was informed of the tragedy.
